An ideal candidate needs to have strong verbal and writing skills, aminimum of three years working with manufacture representatives and iscomfortable with the use of digital technology equipment.  Applicants mustbe able to adapt to changing environments and work through problems as theyarise. A reliable mode of transportation is a must. The scope of the work mayrequire travel.

The Retail Support Team supports the Retail side of LH Gamble by being the eyes, ears, and hands of the product brands that we represent. They carry out a focused array of tasks to help ensure that our partner brands are represented well with our retail partners. These tasks can vary on the needs of those retail partners. Below is a list of some tasks which are expected of the Retail Support Team. Please note that the list is not exhaustive and may not be required for all of our retail partners.

1. Ensure appropriate sales tags are displayed well for our partner brands.
2. Verify all appropriate items for our partner brands have a home on the shelf.
3. Communicate with appropriate retail store leadership regarding the observations and needs of the product lines.
4. Take and electronically post pictures of products displays, signage, and merchandise resets on the shared Microsoft Teams app.
5. Process and disposition credits for select product lines.
6. Participate in select planogram and merchandise sets.
7. Support the Hershey’s brand with seasonal product fills and the assembly of displays.
8. Completes other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Applicant Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

1. Clear written, verbal, and listening skills.
2. Have an eye for detail and be able to distinguish clearly between product brands, sizes, and varieties.
3. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
4. Be able to climb stepstools as well as crouch.
5. Be self-driven and capable of carrying out tasks without direct/constant supervision.
6. Have reliable transportation to go between stores and even possibly transport a few items.
7. Be able to respond to the shifting needs of an industry in motion.
8. Possess basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) or the ability and desire to learn.
9. Regular access to a smartphone and the internet.
10. Be able to travel and support neighbor island stores on a regular basis.
